Pen Pal Program
This page is a place for homeschool parents to connect with other homeschool parents whose children are interested in becoming pen pals. Pen pals can be a fun way to encourage writing, build friendships, and help kids connect with others who share similar interests, both locally and beyond. All connections here are parent to parent, and parents are responsible for managing communication and deciding what works best for their family.

We'd love to have you join the group, just click the group name above, answer the membership questions, and you'll be accepted ASAP.
To help keep this program active and positive for kids, we ask that families who connect through this page plan to send an initial response within about one month of receiving a letter. Listings may be removed periodically if there has been no response, but families are always welcome to rejoin when they’re ready.
How it works
Homeschool parents can submit a listing for their child by filling out the pen pal form on this page (right below this). Submissions are reviewed before being added to the directory to help keep the space safe, relevant, and active.
Once approved, listings will appear in the pen pal directory with basic, parent provided information such as age range, interests, and location. No personal addresses or children’s full names are shared publicly.
Parents who see a listing they feel could be a good fit can reach out directly to the other parent using the contact information provided. All communication and exchanges are managed parent to parent, and families decide what works best for them.
This page is meant to be a simple connection hub. We do not match children, manage communication, or oversee pen pal exchanges, but we’re happy to provide a space where homeschool families can find one another.
